A view to the north from the Citadel. From the 1950s large numbers of people migrated from the countryside to the city and ended up living in houses like these, just outside the city centre.
... Most of the buildings on the hill have been demolished. The large house on the left has been replaced by a mosque, the Yeşil Kubbeli Cami.
