A view to the north-west from the Citadel. The dual carriageway Bentderesi Caddesi ( now Hacı Bayram Bulvarı ) curves away to the right. This is the place to go to buy firewood. To the upper left on the hill are the remains of the Roman Temple of Augustus, beyond which is the Hacı Bayram Mosque of 1427.
... There have been a number of changes in this area.
