There are quite a few pubs in Oswestry - in the old days there were many more. This was one of them, often referred to now as the 'Old' Fighting Cocks. In the late 17th century it was known as the Lower White Horse Inn, the name being changed in the 1720s. It ceased to be a pub in the early 1960s.
Seen here run down, it has been renovated and houses a couple of businesses.
