Sinop - Roman cistern
This Ottoman farmhouse has been built up against one of a set of Roman cisterns a short distance east of Balatlar Kilisesi, which was originally a Roman baths/gymnasium complex. It is thought water was channelled from Sülük Gölü, a lake on the hill above.
At the end of Civelek Yolu, below Kızıltoprak Yolu.  View from the west.
