The ancient city of Side is situated some 60 km along the coast from Antalya. Among the ruins are the remains of a massive theatre. The modern town developed inland, next to Manavgat. Today Side is a holiday resort, with the shore in the distance occupied by hotels and spas for as far as the eye can see.
