This relief is of Hittite King Muwatalli II ( reigned c 1290-1270 BC ), with an inscription to the right. Sited at the ancient mound of Sirkeli Höyük, next to the Ceyhan River, a short distance downstream from Sirkeli village.
The site is overlooked by the fortress of Yılan Kalesi to the north.
