A view from the landing stage at Cibali towards the Haliç Tersanesi ( shipyard ) at Bedrettin on the Beyoğlu shore. A lot of the buildings on both sides of the waterway were swept away in the 1980s - but this yard, which built many of the Bosphorus ferries, survives.
