Güzelhisar ( Bosphorus 68 ) manouvering up to the ( old ) Galata Bridge. Built by Hawthorne Leslie & Company at its yard in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, in 1911, the ship was in service until 1984.
The ferry on the right is Şehit Sami Akbulut, named ( or perhaps re-named ) after a paratrooper killed in Cyprus in 1974.
