This is one of a number of 17th century former mansions located on the main street running parallel to the Golden Horn. In the distance warehouses stretch back from the shore.
View along Mürselpaşa Caddesi, Fener, to the south-east of the Metochion of Mount Sinai, towards the Church of St Stephen of the Bulgars.
Everything here was demolished later in the 1980s and replaced with landscaped gardens.
