Rugs drying on the roof of the Büyük Valide Hanı. The han, the largest in the city, was built by Valide Sultan Kösem, mother of Sultan Murat IV, shortly before her untimely death in 1651.
The han is entered off Çakmakçılar Yokuşu Sokağı, Mercan.
