The second Ottoman governor of Diyarbakır, Hüşrev Paşa, built a mosque/medrese and this han, completed in 1527. Known as the Deliller Hanı, after the people who provided advice and guidence to travellers to Arabia ( delil - guide ). The façade is of basalt with limestone embellishment.
Nothing much is happening here, but in the fullness of time it became the Kervansaray Hotel.
