Looking through the entry to the Safran ( Saffron ) Han, Salman Sokağı, not far from the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations. Built in 1511.
I bet that VW could a tale or two ! 
... The han has been restored. It is now part of the Rahmi Koç Museum complex.
