The Euphrates flows through a gorge east of the village of Köklüce ( formerly Ölbüş ) in the district of Gerger. This Watchtower, facing south-east, is set back on the cliff above, on the west side, 3.5 km east of the village.
The two-storey structure is some 10 m high.
