A number of structures resembling Roman tombs are placed about the landscape at Sumatar. Structure 2, 5.70m square, is set back 550m west-south-west of the Central Mound. Seen here is the blocked entrance to a chamber containing arcosolia ( arched recesses where bodies were placed).
