Loe Bar lies about a mile south-east of Porthleven. Formed naturally in ancient times it blocked what was the estuary of the River Cober, creating what is now Loe Pool ( The Loe ) and its southern arm, Carminowe Creek ( nearest the camera ). Lower Pentire Farm House on the shore.
