The lighthouse at Corbière, completed in 1874, was the first in the British Isles to be constructed of concrete, instead of the stone blocks traditionally used. View from the north-east.
! The rock on which the lighthouse is sited can be accessed by causeway at low tide. The visitor should be aware that Jersey has one of the world's highest tidal ranges. Great care should be taken in order not to be cut off by the incoming sea.
