Library of Atıf Efendi

The Library of Atıf Efendi, founded in 1741, is situated in a courtyard behind this building, which originally accommodated the library staff. Atıf Efendi was a Treasury minister during the reign of Sultan Mahmut I ( 1730-1754 ).
The library is affiliated to the Süleymaniye Library.
At the junction of Sarı Beyazıt Caddesi and Vefa Caddesi, not too far from the Süleymaniye Mosque.
