The Blue Mosque early one grey foggy winter's morning.
Founded by Sultan Ahmet I and built by the imperial architect Mehmet Ağa between 1609 and 1616, the mosque takes its popular name from the blue İznik tilework which decorates its interior.
This view, to the south-west, is from the garden in front of Haghia Sophia.
